Shrines in R&C

This guide focuses on the optional mission objective, which is to obtain the Lombax Lore. You will find out where to find all 12 sanctuaries with Lorbs and what rewards you will receive for completing all additional knowledge.

Meeting with a monk-scientist

You can start looking for shrines as soon as you reach the main part of the wastelands of planet Savali, but first it's worth meeting a monk scientist. You will find him in a small village - the meeting place is marked on the map with a blue dot. You will learn that he collects items called Lorbs containing the knowledge of Lombax, and that giving them to him will reward you with unique treasures. First, the monk will ask you to bring him 3, but eventually you have to find and bring him all 12 lorbs.

Below you will find a list of all the shrines with Lorbs. We have listed them in the approximate order shown on the Savali map attached to this page, but of course you can find them in any order.

Shrine 1

The shrine is located in the southwestern part of the wasteland. Initially, it is surrounded by a force field, and you cannot reach it, even if you use the Phantom Dash. Shrine 2

The shrine is located in the western part of the wasteland. There may be enemies nearby, and you should deal with them first.

Shrine 3

The shrine is located in the village near the place where you might have met the monk. For delivering 3 lorbs to a monk, you will receive Boots for Wasteland Equipment. All items in this set weaken the attacks of enemy creatures (the bonus works even if you are not currently using the Wasteland set). Shrine 4

Shrine 5

The shrine is located in the southern part of the map. You need to touch the pressure plate and run on the walls. When running, try not to bounce too early. There are vertical buttons at the end of some walls. You must touch them while running, and then jump (preferably a double jump) to the neighboring walls.
